Why Must We Leave Someone We Deeply Love?

A popular quote I think almost everyone encountered is this--"If you love someone, you'll let them go. If they return, they are truly yours. If not, then it was never meant to be." The other quote resemblance to this, but almost opposite is this--"If they love you, they should never leave in the first place."
walking away, goodbye

If you love someone, you'll let them go. If they return, they are truly yours. If not, then it was never meant to be.
If they love you, they should never leave in the first place.
Indeed, the failed attempt relationship is not everybody's dream nor want to experience. Such is like defeat, failure, and you feel broken. Picking yourself back together again is the most significant trouble and shit you have to face every day until you recover but who is there to predict or know that your story is like this? No one in this world would you find any soul that knows it all in the beginning to at least spare you this unfortunate experience. Am I right? When you wanted to be back to your flamboyant and healthy self yet you could not. It is so helpless that somehow, you needed to learn everything again from the most basic.

And I get it. You love this person so much, probably made them your world and you know for yourself you could not find any of her/his kind in this vast world. That person is just so unique and so beautiful. That person makes you feel so happy and complete, so you asked yourself why must you leave him/her?

On the other hand, if that person is the one who left you, let me ask you this--if they are, why he/she leave you? If you made that person happy, how could that person walk away easily? You'll probably get over it one day, but for sure, there be different now.

Your old self isn't entirely back anymore, or if it will, it will take the time or much higher love to come to forget those memories you had with that person. Yet, you need to walk away and say your goodbye no matter how painful it shall be. I know you may not deserve all the pain it will inflict on your soul. Saying goodbye to someone you deeply love isn't an easy job--even if you know it is what is best for you, it is what it ought for the situation.

But you have to...either that person is giving you millions of reasons to leave right now and look for love elsewhere... or that person have to bid goodbye along with their uncurable disease and one day, death comes to them... whatever the reasons, you know your stay is no longer wanted.

Truth be told, but it could be worthy or not. If the other person found someone else and leave you, did they did a favor to you? Why would you insist coming into the door that deserving for you? Would you still want to set your one foot on the entrance while the other foot is always on the outside? Do you think it could gain you more control if you do not leave?

There is no stopping for things that they want to do, nor to circumstances that are about to happen. For as long as time is not favorable for such, troubles follow you and deciding against the current would prolong your agony like your life is in an inevitable misery.

Despite the pain, freedom is in your hand. There isn't worth relationship that asks you to sell yourself short. If you have to force things, if you have to prove to the other person your worth, it's never worth it.

Maybe you need to adhere to the positivity that somewhere out there, there is much better options for you. On the other side, maybe it is greener. Adequate for you to grow into reality and away from all shaky foundation you are standing right now. You know, anytime the rickety road will erode, and if unfortunate you be buried alive. You wouldn't want your family who loves you to witness such. You know it would be a loss leaving a person you love, but you have to before it accumulates more damage. So do not be afraid to say goodbye to the past, and to the person you love or used to love. Loving others shouldn't make you compromise the love for yourself.
